Explore artists’ studios and meet visual artists living and working in Somerville during our annual open studio weekend and other events.
Artist registration for SOS 2026 is now open, through February 15.
Artist Registration Now Open
Artist registration for the 2026 event is open now through February 15, 2026. All visual artists either living in or maintaining a working studio space in Somerville are eligible to register.
Somerville residents who want to participate but don’t have a place to show may apply to our Community Space program. Community spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The deadline to apply for financial aid is Sunday, January 18.
Volunteers Wanted / Planning Meetings
Our next planning meeting will be Monday, February 9, 2026 at the studio of Dan Coughlin, 86 Joy Street. We’ll have pizza and drinks at 6:30 pm, with the meeting starting at 7 pm.
Please enter via the yellow door. Look for the SOS sandwich board. Off-street parking is available in front of the building. The studio is also a short walk from the East Somerville Green Line station.
