Getting ready for SOS 2025

Our next Open Studios event will take place on May 3-4, 2025.

The next planning meeting for SOS 2025 is currently scheduled to be Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Dan Coughlin’s studio, 86 Joy Street. Pizza and drinks at 6:30 pm; meeting starts at 7 pm.

Interested in becoming a participating SOS artist? Scroll down to the green “Sign up” button to join our mailing list and check off “Potential SOS Member Artist”. We will notify you when SOS 2025 registration opens on December 15, 2024.

December 2024 open studios events in Somerville

Several of Somerville’s artist buildings will hold their own open studios events this December.

Vernon Street open studios will be December 7-8, from noon to 6 pm. They will celebrate their 50th anniversary this year.

The Studio for Sculptural Arts at SomerNova will hold a Holiday Sale and Open House on Saturday, December 7, from 12-6 pm.

Judith Prager will hold a Holiday Art Show and Sale on Saturday, December 7, from 12-6 pm.

Milk Row Studios will have a Holiday Market on Sunday, December 8, from 12-6 pm.

Upcoming exhibit:
Visions of Somerville

SOS will present a juried exhibit this winter, called Visions of Somerville – As Seen Through Artists’ Eyes. The exhibit, opening this December, will be displayed at a new space, 50 Prospect Street in Union Square. Many thanks to USQ for hosting and supporting this exhibit.
