Artist's Statement

Patricia Palmer explores language and meaning in her art-making practice. Throughout her career, Patricia has continuously balanced her studio practice with her commitment as an arts educator. Her mixed media works and monoprints focus on the body and mind and the rhythms and patterns that lead to awareness of their connection as a source of intuition and knowledge. Drawings, paintings, collages, prints, sculptures, and digital works explore a personal vocabulary of abstract imagery associated with the themes of relationships, communication, and systems.
