Artist's Statement

Gina Halstead is an abstract painter working mostly in oil and who has been a member of the Vernon Street Studios for over 20 years. Her art education includes studying painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and at an overseas art program in Viterbo, Italy. Her inspiration springs from the people she has known and the countries and cultures where she has lived and traveled.
