Artist's Statement

Pottery has always appealed to me because of its structure, texture and humble beginnings. I concentrate on functional forms, open and enclosed, altered and balanced, with minimalist quality or layered in surface decorations. My current work includes molded forms from nature and 3D prints. 

My photographs come from travels far and near. Capturing foreign cultures, local flowers, native creatures, serene landscapes.
