Artist's Statement

Home Sweet Home Studio, run by born and raised Boston-area artist Justyne,  consists of eclectic collections of whimsical multimedia art - primarily focused on traditional and digital drawing & painting, but also including zines, ceramics, airbrushed art, art originals & prints, and more. As a lover of fantasy, vintage, and kitschy objects, they love to incorporate all these elements into their work. Growing up surrounded my various media, shows and video games, Justyne also likes to explore the themes of their childhood in their artwork, whether it making ceramic forms inspired by fantasical objects, paintings and illustrations that feature characters or beasts, or just making kitschy ceramic figurines and plush toys! Justyne is always trying new mediums and currently has been exploring metal, glass, and 3d modeling.
