Artist's Statement
Boston Comic Arts Foundation is a nonprofit that fosters community around comics and promotes engagement with the art form. We support comics creators, attract readers, and offer free public events and educational programs throughout New England. We help put on several events throughout the year, including Massachusetts Independent Comic Expo (MICE), Comics in Color Festival, Calmer Con, and many others. Our Somerville Open Studios features comic artists and publishers from across the Somerville area.
