Artist's Statement

I am a Boston-based oil painter exploring the expressive power of our hands and the ways we use them to interact with the world around us. I grew up immersed in graphic novels, while the work of Egon Schiele became an equally important influence. Drawn to the rich textures of oil paint and a deliberate looseness in composition, I aim to evoke a sense of mindfulness and presence in my work.
