Artist's Statement

Rachael Jayne is a visual artist specializing in abstract painting and drawing. She uses a variety of mediums to experiment with concepts of order, chaos, and time.

Rachael has spent over a decade in the field of materials engineering, touching areas of biomechanics, polymers, 3D printing, metallurgy, and microelectronics. She finds inspiration from her encounters with the profound complexity in both the industrial and natural worlds - and seeks to explore the unusual and convoluted connections between them through her art.
