Artist's Statement

Arte Por Un Mundo Cuir, which translates to Art For A Queer World from Spanish, is about creating art that inspires us to build the world we need and desire. Art is powerful and in a world filled with inequity, genocide, transphobia, it is sometimes hard to build because we focus on fighting back against oppressive systems. My art inspires us to imagine the world we are fighting for and reminds us to build it, raise it, grow it together. Arte Por Un Mundo Cuir began with a Free Palestine print I made in a block printing workshop and another print that said Queer the World, Build It Together. Those two prints and being in community have inspired a range of other prints, patches, tshirts, stickers, buttons, and more. 

*All my art is on a sliding scale to make art more accessible to all. Some of the profits from my art are donated to mutual aid funds in Gaza and to support immigrant neighbors.
