Artist's Statement

Art can take you many places. In my case, wanting to practice anatomy led me to connect with creatives in different parts of the world. A lot of life drawing moved online during the pandemic and as a result, I've done countless sessions online with models posing from their bedrooms. I've drawn models from France, Italy, Colombia, Japan, different parts of the US, and most significantly, Argentina. The majority of models I've worked with in the past 5 years have been based there and this connection even prompted me to visit the beautiful city of Buenos Aires.  

Even though this international network of artists and models is a smaller part of my life than it was a couple of years ago, I'm forever grateful for the growth in me that everyone inspired.
