Artist's Statement

Coming to painting later in life as a welcome escape from a more rigid, science based career, Sara embraces the freedom of the creative process.  Working across various media - from gouache to fluid acrylics - and styles, ranging from abstract to impasto seascapes, she treats the creative process as a joyful, exploratory escape.
