Artist's Statement

Much of my work is rooted in mentorship and empowerment. Working with young artists at my youth center has reinforced my belief that photography is a tool for self-expression and legacy. I strive to create spaces where youth see themselves reflected in meaningful ways, using the camera not just to document their world but to help them shape it.

My work often focuses on capturing the raw, authentic moments that make up people’s stories—whether it’s through portraiture, candid moments, or documenting the creative process. I work closely with musicians, performers, and other artists, amplifying their unique visions and showcasing their energy and talent. Through light, color, and composition, I bring their artistry to life, documenting everything from the behind-the-scenes grind to the final polished moment.

At its core, my photography is about storytelling and preservation—honoring the people, movements, and moments that deserve to be seen and remembered.
