Artist's Statement

I create whimsical watercolor paintings that celebrate the charm of New England, the coastal beauty of the East Coast, and the vibrancy of everyday moments. My work is inspired by the places that bring people joy—whether it’s a beloved Boston landmark, a quiet seaside scene, or the warm glow of a familiar neighborhood. Through bright colors, playful details, and a touch of nostalgia, I aim to evoke happiness and connection in those who view my art.

With a background in graphic design and studio art, my approach blends structure with spontaneity. Watercolor’s fluid nature allows me to embrace movement and imperfection, giving each piece an organic, lively quality. I love capturing the essence of a place rather than its exact details, allowing viewers to find their own memories within my work.

Beyond my personal paintings, I share my art through local shows in Boston, MA, and Niantic, CT, as well as on my Etsy shop and website. Whether in prints, originals, or commissions, my goal is to create pieces that spark joy and remind people of the places and moments they cherish most.
