Artist's Statement

I enjoy making practical and useful ceramic pieces that explore the textures and colors of nature.  I began taking classes at the Clay School in Lynn with my daughter Katie as a fun and creative outlet that we continue to share.  I work primarily in red clay stoneware creating hand built pieces that are both food and dishwasher safe. I enjoy exploring different surface techniques and glazes. My hope is that my work will brighten up a space in your house and give you years of enjoyment.
