Artist's Statement

Experimentation is a constant: By becoming present, in the moment, while painting and without imposing preconceived concepts onto the canvas, I try to be open to the "happy accidents" that occur while painting. The work, then, becomes about making art and how materials interact; it's an ode to the artistic process itself.
