Artist's Statement

As an architect and multidisciplinary artist, my work explores the intersection of structure and intuition, function and form. Rooted in a deep understanding of spatial relationships, my practice extends beyond buildings into small furniture, sculptural painting, weaving, and drawing. These varied mediums allow me to engage with materiality, craftsmanship, and the tension between the organic and the constructed.

I approach each piece with a designer’s precision and an artist’s curiosity—whether shaping wood into furniture, weaving fibers into form, layering paint into dimensional surfaces, or crafting architectural models that encapsulate spatial ideas on a smaller scale. My process is guided by a balance of control and spontaneity, embracing imperfection as an essential aspect of making.
