Artist's Statement

The Chest Collective is equal parts an appointment-based, fit-focused bra shop and a creatively rebellious gathering space. I think about bras and transform bra-blems so you don’t have to. Because you’ve got more important sh*t to do than fix your bra straps or tuck your tits in all day. I feel freer when my bras fit and function. All genders, all ages, all bodies: may we all live free. Offering custom-made bralettes and sew your own bralette workshops for all chests through Rue du Paradis Lingerie and a curated inventory of ready-to-wear bras for cups d and up. We also host nipple casting workshops, private chest-casting experiences, all nude life drawing groups for womxn, and feature local figurative artists in our gallery-studio-shop. We welcome collaborators who also want to uplift people who wear bras. This is an act of protest.
