Artist's Statement

CHARD (Richard Lopez ), is a Queer Cuban American Artist and Visual Designer based in Boston. He studied illustration at Parsons School of Design, where he explored various art-making techniques. His work ranges from deeply introspective to playful abstraction in the form of polymer clay sculptures and mixed media pieces, with his heritage and religious upbringing serving as a backdrop.
