Artist's Statement

Jenn Falk has been a Somerville resident involved in both art and wellness spaces for the last 19 years. This past Fall, she took over the studio formerly known as Craftwork, and transitioned it into Constellation: a studio for creative and mindful practices. It is a space for the community to come together for a variety of supportive, inspiring, collaborative, calming, open-minded events and classes. She is thrilled to curate such events, art pop-ups, and classes at the studio, and to continue the tradition of hosting Open Studios in the space. This year, you will find three local female artists sharing their mediums and art for SOS! 

Heather Carroll (Rare Bird Aesthetics): textile art - jewelry, framed pieces, mirrors, etc.

Amy Ross : nature-inspired and whimsical fine art prints + ceramics 

Deanna Skow (six eyes stitches) : fiber art, hand-embroidery
