Artist's Statement

I'm a self-taught artist & fourth-generation Somervillian. I make metalwork and beaded jewelry inspired by travel, color, and love of vintage & internationally sourced beads. My metalwork is often described as modern-tribal, with inspiration taken from ancient metalwork around the world. My beaded pieces are where my maximalist heart shines, and I get to express my love of color, texture, and pattern mixing. I also enjoy painting in watercolor, usually of the natural world and historical figures.
