Artist's Statement

The black underglaze is my stage and the world is etched out to reveal white and accents of color. All my work is for everyday life, cups, mugs, bowls, vases, etc so every character and scene can be intertwined with the user’s connection to the piece they have bought. The narratives that I tell are underlined by the tree of life and the natural environment that every person, animal, and plant exists in.
