Artist's Statement

Honestly, playing with wool is the absolute best. I began spinning yarn and weaving during the pandemic. The introduction of a creative practice has been a huge surprise to me; before this, I never thought I was creative. Now I hand card (blend) wool, hand spin it, and create one of a kind weavings and objects. I've expanded my practice to include making pillows, framed weavings, small rugs, and knitting! I use a lot of upcycled materials, and local/ hand dyed wool. Yes, I dream about having sheep someday. Im having a lot of fun and generally don't know what I'm doing. I look forward to sharing it all with you!
