Artist's Statement

Lizzie Rutberg is calling on you to join the fight for a free Palestine. How can we produce and enjoy art here in the US while Palestinian poets and artists are being targeted and assassinated as part of a sustained effort to destroy Palestinian culture? If art is a project of affirming our shared humanity, we must affirm that humanity through action. Otherwise what's the point?
