Artist's Statement

Hey! I’m Lena - a Boston based photographer. My journey in photography began over a decade ago in my homeland of Russia, where I graduated from Photography School. Upon relocating to the US, I initially pursued a career in medicine. In the meantime I was doing photography as a hobby, capturing moments at various events including birthdays, weddings, and family gatherings. But 2020 prompted me to pursue my passion as a Studio Photographer full-time. Now, with my own space, I specialize in editorial, personal branding, fashion, maternity, and more. Why do people say I’m not your average photographer? Well, my shoots are anything but ordinary. I prioritize authenticity over posed shots, embracing unique angles and the interplay of light and shadow. I only work with natural light, creating an atmosphere where my clients rediscover their inner beauty through the lens. My sessions go beyond just photography; they act as a conduit for self-discovery, enabling individuals to rekindle their inner selves and embrace their innate beauty.
