Photography is one way I record and share things that delight me. The colors, textures, patterns, and geometries I see - both in nature and in our built environment - capture my attention and inspire me, even if I don’t have my camera. Often, what I find most compelling are the drab, decaying, and unkempt features of my surroundings. Being intentional about seeing the spaces I pass through over the course of my day offers many opportunities to feel surprise, gratitude, and joy. My camera allows me to share my experiences with others, though their reactions might be very different from my own.
