Artist's Statement

My eye dwells on both the built and the unbuilt world. I look to find movement in the static--the unseen energy embodied in the still.

I am an architect returning to painting after 25 years exploring both the urban, land, and sea. Working through observational scenes, I am learning to find how to deviate when needed.
