Artist's Statement

While I have always worked and played in the art world, as an art major, an interior designer, and more – my passion for painting was fostered by a move in the past ten years.  As an ocean lover and color queen, I decided to play with paint and cold wax to bring the outside in, by filling my walls with the waters and skies of New England. I also love a good chuckle, so I have spread my wings and experimented with painting whimsical, colorful birds which always make others and me laugh.  I hope that the vastness, depth, and layering of my pieces bring you the sense of amazement, beauty, humor, and calm that I feel when gazing at the water, clouds, and life.
