Artist's Statement

There is magic found at intersections. Whether it is making art through found objects or found footage, the act of creation transforms what was discarded, what was once a memory or what was lost into something new to be experienced again. My art focuses on this strange loop and happy accidents, transforming visuals into multimedia art, primarily in video.  

The art was and is. It was something before and will be something still. 

If nothing is made in isolation, art is just a stream of ideas flowing by. I cast my line into the depths of this sea and pull out was was there all along. Sometimes it’s a golden fish. Sometimes it’s just an old tire long discarded. But here it is on the beach for you to see and experience again. And again the waves will wash it away, only this time into the ocean of your mind.
