Artist's Statement

Eric Benton, under the alias GUTROT, is an artist based in Somerville. Mainly working as a self-publisher and illustrator, his work can be found in zines, on shirts, art prints, patches, pins, and whatever else feels right in the moment. Raised on a diet of comic books and gristle, he explores the occult, the lowbrow, and all the beautiful ugliness of this world and others.
