Artist's Statement

I started making jewelry around 7 years ago as an outlet for the stress of my "day" job in the biotech sector. I love the aesthetic of leather accessories so this ended up being a natural outlet for me. I usually make all my pieces on the floor in my kitchen while I hang out with my dog and cat and two girls, age 13 and 10! I loved the conversations and interactions with all the folks from the last time I participated in this even in 2023 and even got some great suggestions on alternative leather sources and am looking forward to seeing everyone again this year!
