Artist's Statement

Jaxoline is an artist who gew up on Cape Ann in Massachusetts before moving to Somerville in 2021. She has always been inspired growing up by the landscapes around her, as well the potential of what could be hidden in the world around her. Her art sometimes can be as simple as Brussels Sprouts, did you know that they grow in stalks, or as fantasmical as a coffee shop leading to the fae realm. At the end of the day, Jaxoline always tries to piant what inspires her, or subjects that she hopes will bring joy to those who see it.
