Artist's Statement

As an author, designer, and artist working in the genre, Investigative Cartooning, I use markers, pen and ink, and acrylics along with text to illuminate the puzzles we face in Life Today: the gig economy; our over-committed social media-driven hours; whether to cut our own hair, and yoga in the age of zoom.

My paintings portray things I care about - ancient Greek vessels and deities; oceans; gardens, and still lives made up of familiar objects.
