Artist's Statement

Using acrylic, mixed mediums, and photography, Zachary breaks down the world around him in the best way he knows how. Abstract paintings allow for Zachary to express himself through the movement of colors and shapes. Zachary uses his photography to point the lens at the objects that are often times overlooked, finding the beauty and tranquility where it is often hard to find. It's important to take from all experiences, both the exciting and the mundane. Zachary's work is often inspired by the moments that are normally overlooked, creating art to evoke a range of feelings.
