Artist's Statement

Making art is a never-ending exploration for me. I often begin working with a certain intention only to be "hijacked" by the work itself. Then my challenge is to follow where the work wants to go.

I am drawn to vibrant colors, various textures, and the overall physical and tactile experience of painting.
