Artist's Statement

Returning for a second year at the Armory for SOS, Michael is thrilled to be able to share more of his artwork with the city of Somerville. Working mostly in acrylic on various surfaces, Michael paints "thickly and quickly" with expression while anchored in realistic representation. He finds inspiration for his paintings in everyday life's forgettable details and beautiful chaos.
