Artist's Statement

My body of work includes painting, paper weavings and woven sculptural forms.  Common across my 2D and 3D art is an interst in geometry and pattern, from the bold and colorful to the more subdued and meditative. Paper weavings and collages are constructed of painted recycled paper strips. Various materials including reed, twine, waxed linen and rush are used to weave vessels, sculptural forms and unique hanging pendant lights.
