Artist's Statement
Most of my paintings have derived from the shores of Cape Ann where we have an unheated summer cottage: I have painted the giant granite boulders dropped by the retreating glaciers, and lately the various crab parts I find on the beach, whose intricacies have been explored in large 15” x 22” watercolors.
