Artist's Statement

After studying art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Brooks received an M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the University of Arizona in Tucson. Her exhibitions include one-person shows at Bromfield gallery, Willoughby & Baltic Fine Arts, the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, and elsewhere. She has received several visual arts fellowships from the Somerville Arts Council.
