Artist's Statement

'The more you look around, the more you see.' I say this to myself because I love to explore human nature in reality and in metaphor. It could be in the human form diving through the sky, or in dying flowers showing off their imperfections in their colorful glory.

My artwork exists in multiple forms: portrait photography, fine art photography, and in realistic paintings and drawings. While my mediums vary, the through line that ties my work together is the curiosities of the human psyche. 

What is so fearful about the unknown? 
What possibilities exist in the aging process?
How do we enjoy each moment?
