Artist's Statement

Penny Lennox is an artist, photographer, podcaster and lawyer living in Somerville, Massachusetts. Her work ranges from the concrete to the abstract and includes a lot of travel and a lot of people.

Penny’s love of photography began at around the age of 4 when she first witnessed her older brother turn their parents’ bathroom into a darkroom and produce prints as if by magic. She went on to study Film at Vassar, and strangely enough to law school; coming back to Photography later. She went on to study at New England School of Photography and Maine Media Workshop and College.

Lately, she’s embarked on a new mode of expression, creating mixed media assemblages.
