Artist's Statement

I make functional, wheel-thrown, (mostly) porcelain pottery. Everything I make is created and fired at Mudflat Studios right here in Somerville. I love making and using mugs (so tactile!) and bowls and creating pots for plants. My work features geometric carvings and lots of color.
