Artist's Statement

As a writer/artist of comics and graphic novels, my work incorporates research and humor to foster empathy and open dialogue in topics that may challenge the audience. As a PhD candidate at the University of Limerick, my sci-fi graphic novel work-in-progress is the first of its kind in a creative writing program at a university in Ireland. My past work has been published by Marvel, Vertigo, Image, Dark Horse, and independently. My plays have been performed during Quare Tales in Dublin and Galway, and Fringe PVD in Providence.
