Artist's Statement
All the world's a stage. I'm drawn to theater stills and the drama between figures – or the drama of a solitary figure or scene -- as if in 'tableau.' I have a weakness for dioramas and models of stage sets. My current focus is creating layered paintings on wood that feel as though the curtain has opened on a stage.
