Artist's Statement

My work originates with a digital photograph which is then painted in the computer. Once the desired result is achieved I print the artwork on art paper and add pastel as the final step. My focus is on color and how it influences our emotional response to a scene or composition. Themes include landscapes, architecture, man-made forms and patterns.
