Artist's Statement

For decades, I’ve been collecting craft materials that I periodically turn into something awesome. I’ve worked with paper, beads, bits of wood, multi-media collage and assemblage, pen and ink, photography, and fabric. Now, I'm bringing it all together into functional and beautiful art, telling stories through my work. My focus is on the moments and feelings we share as we interact with each other and the world around us. Favorite artists: Frida Kahlo, Andy Goldsworthy, Jim Henson, Joseph Cornell, Rachel Mello
