Artist's Statement

Laura has just returned to Somerville after three years of living on organic farms in Australia and other interesting corners of the world. Several series of paintings have developed out of her travels, as well as illustrated travel narrative book projects. Back home in Somerville, Laura is focusing on her artwork, growing and gardening with neighbors, teaching, and nurturing other creative urban learning projects in her community.
