Nature Based art works.
I view myself as a problem solver and my work is expressed in visual communication. I just retired from a career teaching design at Suffolk University and am now focusing on fine arts. I also have created public art, environmental design, community art and curating exhibitions, most recently during 2021 Spring-Fall outdoor art season, works at the Concord Art Ramble, Westford Go Outdoors, and Brookline's Studio Without Walls. I believe that art & design should serve a purpose in our society and community. I like to phrase a problem and seek a visual solution that is not always applicable to the medium I am used to working in. This inspires me to broaden my artistic and technical skills! Most recently, I am learning how to carve and work with wood... maybe some turned bowls in my future? But who knows where my interests will lead me!
