Artist's Statement
I view myself as a problem solver and my work is expressed in visual communication. I work as a fine artist, graphic designer, crafts person and I teach at Suffolk University. In addition, I have had experience with public art, environmental design, community art and curating exhibitions. I believe that art & design should serve a purpose in our society and community. I like to phrase a problem and seek a visual solution that is not always applicable to the medium I am used to working in. This inspires me to broaden my artistic and technical skills!
Most recently I have been creating outdoor installations that live for months in parks and woods. And I am exploring abstract expression using paint and collage.
