Growing up in an artistic family I was encouraged to express myself. I first found color photography; the patterns, textures and colors that nature creates excites me. I later went on to being an equestrian, where I learned about rhythm, confidence and being bold. My mind’s eye sees everything a little differently, I find color and vibrancy in everything that I see, and applying my love of and experience with color from my photography. I like implementing the absence of local color in my pieces. As a former photographer, I enjoy painting differently from what I can photograph, I believe that my paintings should be truly how I see the world and see colors, and not necessarily colors in reality.
