I am interested in the portrait because the human face is a complex and attractive universe.

I face the individual with the curiosity of the voyeur and I explore the subject keeping always a distance.

 I need to be close and far away simultaneously, in a somewhat ambiguous relation, because the human nature is something that fascinates me and disappoints me at the same time.

I use my own pigments, organic and inorganic, because I am fascinated by the materiality of the color and the meaning of matter.
