I have enjoyed taking photos as early as junior high school. For the past eight years or so, my brother and I have taken an annual photo trip, which has been a great time to hang out and concentrate on our picture taking. More recently I have been able to devote more time and energy to my photography. My photos cover a variety of images, but are connected by the idea of focusing on interesting shapes, lines, and colors that may be overlooked or taken for granted. The idea is to capture and preserve a particular image at a specific moment in time. The images are also linked by the attempt to reflect the profound beauty of this world. I am excited about showing my photos at SOS for the second year.
